Getting Started

If you do not yet know which event you would like to participate in, the following brief description will be of assistance. The Building Cars and Boats section then expands on this data by giving more detailed information on how to actually go about building the vehicle for your chosen event.   

Do not overlook the regulations they have detailed information on the tracks and pools used, eligibility to compete and entry details together with descriptions of how the event is conducted.    

Also for teachers we have resources to help fit this competition into your classroom.

Avialble catagories are:

Model Solar Boats - for primary and secondary students.

The Sheriden Kit Car Compeition - as an intermeditae step between the boat and car competitions.

Model Solar Cars - mainly aimed at secondary students but open to primary aged students as well.

Mars Rovers - open to everyone who would like to participate, including adults.
